Gatsby MI

We finally got Gatsby back from the trainer and after an intense 6 week training program the trainer concluded: NO children, NO cats and NO small dogs. Gatsby gets extremely wild playing with other dogs and many times does not quit when the other dog tries to tell him to back off. In regards to children,  it would not be safe to have children around Gatsby due to his extremely rambunctious nature . Gatsby has improved tremendously but keep in mind, he also was extremely wild and crazy when he started training with no idea how to act around people and other dogs. The training helped but he is by no means perfect. Gatsby knows now what is expected of him but he always pretends he does not know and will challenge you.
 

Gatsby would be ready to an Airedale Terrier experienced home. He needs rules, plenty of exercise, kindness but not getting spoiled. He still is extremely mouthy and will snap at your hands and arms if you do not constantly watch him and prevent such behavior.  He has learned to lick rather than bite but at times he forgets and you feel teeth.....Now we have to find a home for him where his training will continue.  We spent a lot of time, money and effort on this boy to give him the best chance possible. Gatsby is not just an addition to your home he will be a full time job for quite some time.
We are in the process of reviewing all the applicants, we've had a lot of interest in Gatsby and we will decide what's in Gatsby's best interest.
