Shortly after Bailey entered rescue it was discovered that she has allergies. She recently visited with the doggie dermatologist who has put her on immunotherapy by injection. Initially, she is getting a shot every other day for fourteen days to help her build up an immunity. After that her dosage with be less and less until she may need a shot semi annually or is able to stop using her magic serum all together. It only takes a second to administer the injection and it doesn't bother her at all. If you would like more information about this amazingly sweet girl please give me a call for more details.
HI, my name is Bailey and I am one great gal albeit a bit horizontally challenged. But, let's not dwell on that until I tell you my tale. I am awfully sweet, healthy, alert and happy lady having been pampered all my life. Boy, I sure loved my mommy and daddy but they had to move to a place called assisted living and I couldn't go along. The day rescue came to get me they cried and so did I. I didn't want to leave them but they told me they would always love and think about me and I know they will. So, I am looking for a new family that will adore and pamper me again. I have always been a good dog and promise to stay that way in a new home. I like to play with dogs of all sizes, am gentle with older children, walk well on lead, am house trained and don't get into trouble when left home alone. Oh, I forgot to mention that I really like car rides and love to make nose art on the windows. See, I am so good.
Now, to the...uh um.... weight issue. I love to eat! My mom and dad always let me have a considerable portion of whatever they had at meal times and it was GREAT! Really GREAT! Have you ever had two pieces of toast with peanut butter on it for breakfast? If not you should try it. Yummy good. I like bacon, too. OK, I'll admit that I like everything. But, I have recently started the ATRA diet. That stands for:

DOG FOOD! ME? But, that's all I am ever offered so it will have to do. I do get treats and eat them although they taste suspicious like dog food. Carrots and other veggies are not as good as pizza, pancakes and bacon but I like them. I should weigh in at around sixty-five pounds or so and like it or not, I'm following the rules. Heavens to Betsy, enough of that subject.
I also came in to rescue with infected eyes but after some medication am doing just fine. Soon I'll be slim and gorgeous amd I can't wait to come an be your special beauty. New pictures coming soon.
