Compass Quilt Square

Shawano County is known for its farming community and with that a strong love for quilting. Local artists decided the two go hand-in-hand and thus the barn quilts were born. Over 154 barn quilts have been painted and mounted on the many barns that exist in Shawano County.  This one is called the compass square and chosen as this one as it reminds us that all roads for lost or unloved Airedales lead to ATRA.  This smaller version (24" square) is  painted on treated wood and if you are the high bidder you can hang this on point ( like ours shown here) or square.  Sorry, dogs not included! Jim & Paula Lackner donate this to celebrate all the Airedales who have made their way to Camp Lackner.

Airedale Resolutions

Do you need to be reminded about who runs your home?    Spice and Griff Durance set up a committee with their fellow Airedales and put the top 10 list together. They saved their treat money and had it professionally printed and framed ( measures 19" X 13") so it can be hung in the King's (ah, that is your Airedale) favorite room.  Donated by Barbara Durance and Paula Lackner.
