Honey WI

Honey lives up to her name, a honey of a ‘dale. Honey and her brother Lucky came into rescue due to their owners passing away and the daughter moved to Florida, unable to take the two dogs with her. The two dogs are littermates and have been together their entire lives.  Honey prefers the company of her brother and even cats but not other dogs.

She enjoys her walks and being sassy with her brother. She lets him know she is in charge! She sits pretty when she knows she is getting a treat. She enjoys hanging out with her humans while they are watching TV or sewing but also lets you know when she needs an ear scratch or wants to be petted. Honey is the more independent of the two but If she does not feel you are listening to her, she will “talk” and let you know she wants your undivided attention.

Honey and Lucky are both in their golden years so their health has been monitored closely. During the past several months, Honey has had several teeth removed during to dental cleanings as well as two benign lumps removed. As with aging, she loves her naps and has the start of cataracts.  Honey and her brother are looking for a home that will pamper them as they live out their senior years and be able to hang out with cat friends.
